My 4 year old just loves this game October 1, 2008 Since I bought this game for my 4 year old two weeks ago, he does nothing else. He is hooked on the game and now my husband had joined in. They race each other on different ds consoles. Great stuff!!
good September 28, 2008 I got this game when my Grandma bought my Mummy her DS. I had wanted it for ages and I am reallly pleased I have got it now. It is very good because it's got lots of different characters to choose from and that is it really, Seth aged 6.
My favourite DS game August 30, 2008 This is my all time favourite DS game, unlike many other games, it doesn't get boring quickly, it remains fun for like ever. As you play more characters are added, you originally begin with Marion, Luigi, Peach Donkey Kong, Yoshie and Bowser, then later you progress to 12 players, each with seven karts each. With only one game, you can send off a signal to players who have and DON'T have Mario Kart! It is very fun, and begins with eight different racecourses, and eventually, it progresses to 64 depending on how well you're doing, there is Grand Prix, where you select a cup and complete those four races, Time Trials to race against the clock, VS to play random, chosen or in order courses against the other players, with the option of a team. You also have a section called Battle, this includes Shine runners and Balloon battle, in shine runners, you must stay on the platform, collecting as many stars as possible, avoiding being shot by other players, or flying off the sides. Balloon battle is similiar, except instead of stars, you blow up balloons using your mic everytime you loose a balloon, you loose a life! Then missions, simple and difficult missions to do many different unusua; things on courses. Really, it's a great game! Far better than all my other broing games.
BEST DS GAME EVERRRR!!! August 21, 2008 This is the best DS game by far are so are the other mario ones too! Get to choose from all your faviourite Super Mario characters and choose their vehicles and the track and you're off, there's also an opportunity for you to lock more things! If you have a DS then you must have this game too!! Great on multiplayer for racing with friends! FAB!!
Great fun August 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As Mario Kart on the SNES was a most beloved game of mine as a child, I bought this pretty quickly after getting a DS. It consists of 4 brand new cups and 4 cups with tracks from the previous versions of this game, so has a sense of nostalgia as well. Lots of drivers and cars to choose from and some new games. It's most fun when you are playing against someone else, but is still very much enjoyable playing alone, either on Time Trials or Grand Prix.
