 Please dont waste your money! November 22, 2008
I bought this game with quite moderate expectations and it didnt even meet those. The 3-d engine is a good addition...well if you have a high performing computer and its still slow then and gets frustrating.
The installation is a joke and when you do install it I had to download a graphics patch to run it! When it is finally loaded (after a few hours) not much has changed from 2008. Its almost identical!
Should be sold as an add on like they used to for 15. I took mine back. Poor.

Despite this rough start SI has had with this release, once all patch's were out and activation issues resolved, it allowed us to settle into a fantastic game!!!! I am addicted already...

I've played this game for about ten years back when it was champ manager, but the installation process of 09 has totally detoxed me. I've been so sickened by the, treat the customer as the criminal attitude of SI that i wont be buying next years game. Which is sad because i have enjoyed this game and remained faithful after SI split. My advice is to totally avoid the game.

I read the many reviews about how hard it was to install the game and was dreading spending hours installing it. but when it arrived i put the disk in and after installing and a quick update i put in the product key (printed on the inside of the box) and i had no problems at all. everything went smoothly and within in a few seconds i was into the game. which is, by the way, looking very promising.
I would highly recommend this series of games to anyone and i'm very pleased with this new model.

Do not buy this game it is shocking! I have played this game since its inception and have never been more disapointed in my life. All I can say is do not buy it!
