This game is abysmal! I only wished I had read the first review before purchasing. I had hoped to rekindle days of enjoyment in my early teens playing Track and Field or Daley Thompsons Decathlon on my ZX Spectrum; but even they were more advanced and enjoyable than this; at least you got the cance to bash your keyboard to death!There is very little, if any, skill involved in playing the game; the controls seem to have little or no impact on what you are watching on the screen. I had never experienced a game with which I am bored before completing the first time playing it; I have now. I don't think this will ever be played on the console again. Buy it at your peril!

What on earth have these x-box game programmers been smoking lately? This game is absolulety mind numbinlgy BORING!!!! I had an identical winter olympic games for the Commodore 64, 20 years ago! If all you want to do is hit the 'A' button,then occasionally the 'B' button, then maybe you get to STEER the charachter if you're lucky, then this game is for you, otherwise MOVE AWAY FROM THIS TITLE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY, PLEASE!!!!
It lasted 20 minutes before I had to take it out my x-box. I am now stuck with it, if I trade it in at a shop
It says 3+ on the box, AN UNBORN CHILD COULD MASTER THE CONTROLS.
DULL DULL DULL!!!!
This isn't even worth 1 star, I'VE BEEN RIPPED OFF!!
DON'T BUY IT!
 Great Game, But needs more events January 28, 2006

Bought this game being a big fan of the winter olympics, and it live upto expectations, the events are all challenging, but not that hard that you cant win occasionally, the skiing is great and is easy to get to grips with, speed skating take alot of practice to master, bobsleigh and luge are great, the cross country skiing and biathalon events are definately challenging, Ski jumping... Excellent.
Unfortunately the Curling isnt on the game which was a great challenge on Nagano Winter Olympics.
Other Events missing which would have earned this game a perfect score are, snowboarding, figure skating, ice hockey, and the always dangerous Skeleton Luge!! All in all a great game, but not enough events to keep you coming back to the game.
