Super Super Mario September 20, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well what a game. its got good gameplay and graphics are really flashy. I has all the glitz of Super Mario 64. But one anoying thing the control is crap. You should be able to use classic controller for this game. like all the new games have. it would be perfect. so shame about that. its a awesome game.
well done nintendo but shame on you for the control. yes you get used to it eventually after hours of playing.
mario does it again! August 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This the best game on wii and the best platforming game ever for many reasons:- .graphics are on on par with the 360(very rare for a wii game). The planets are well designed and the whole game is very beautiful.
.gameplay is very good and it is just fun to jump around the planets. The controls are simple and easy to use.
.the sound is great with classic mario sound effects and tunes remixed so there even better.
.The life span of this game is months. All round its marios 1st next gen classic
The best game on the Wii by far! August 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have completed this game 100%, and I can honestly say that it's probably the best Mario 3D game AND Wii game I have ever owned and played. This also the only game that to me, has put the Wii to its full potential.
The graphics? Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. It's colourful and there's alot of great textures too. The gameplay is simply marvellous and unique, far better than Sunshine for the Gamecube. Another brilliant thing about this game is the music. Oh the music! Almost all the music in this game is orchestrated and it sounds wonderful.
You must not miss out on this game, it's really THAT brilliant! Go get it, quick! ^_^
Brilliant! July 30, 2008 This is the best mario game i have played in ages. If your a mario fan then get it cos this game is a must have for any mario fan!
Simply Magical July 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Super Mario galaxy is a fantastic game, gloriously executed and deserves all the praise it has been given!
graphics: 10/10 - this is the best looking game on wii by a long shot, glorious art design and space landscapes
gameplay: 10/10 - mario galaxy is in a league of its own when it comes to innovation and level design - absolutely brilliant! Nobody thought super mario 64 could be trumped but galaxy has proven its possible
sound: 9/10 - phenomenal orchestrated soundtracks full of retro nostalgia and great new tunes - great
innovation: 9/10 - taking the mario genre and reinventing it in space was a masterstroke, it opened up a whole world of possibilities for level design and gameplay, not to mention the great wii controls!
final score: 97/100 - a perfect gaming experience which has to end eventually, but was the well deserved winner of game of 2007, beating off heavy opposition such as COD4 and Halo3 , which is saying something
