| Customer Reviews: GOO WEEEEH! What a Great Game April 14, 2009 Mr. MP French (UK) 49 out of 86 found this review helpful
This has got to be one of the greatest games of all time! I have ever played, it has simple graphics, some levels are mind boggling but often turn out to be a really simple to solve.
I recon it is great game to keep your kids entertained, the music can be a bit repetitive but it's great music as well.
It's only down side is the lack levels, it was over to quick for me.
Basically it is a puzzle solving construction game to get as many Goo Balls from A to B as possible in order win each level.
All in all a fantastic game, well worth getting, I recommend it to Adults and children.
KEEPS GOOING & GOOING! March 24, 2009 NeuroSplicer (Freeside, in geosynchronous orbit) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a small game only in cost: it has offered me endless hours of fun!
If I were to describe this game as simply "building bridges made out of, well, elastic goo", I would do it no justice. I could never imagine how entertaining balancing goo-tension and gravity could be!
The graphics are clear and do not have high hardware requirements. The music is well chosen and appropriate. And the gameplay you will find yourself longing for after some hours away from the game.
WORLD OF GOO is a game that can be enjoyed by the whole family - and it comes free from any draconian DRM schemes.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Best game of 2008? November 6, 2008 NewHeart (Hampshire, UK) 21 out of 44 found this review helpful
Remember Worms? Or Lemmings? Like them, this is a completely innovative game which is addictive, fun and very playable. I won't try to describe the game here, but will say that it has us (adults) and our kids (ages 5 and 7) completely hooked. I think it is only sold direct from the maker (a new independent software house I think) at the moment, but it is quick to download and very reasonably priced.
Try the demo - the whole first fun-packed level which is completely free to download. It provides a couple of hours of play, enough to let you know if you want to buy the full version. Try it at worldofgoo dot com..
Oh, and a bonus: no copy protection, no DRM. Brilliant!
Full marks to the makers for a really refreshing new game!
World Of Greatness October 26, 2008 M. Wake (Essex, UK.) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this direct from the devlopers who have clearly taken a view of the industry as a whole and decided it wasn't good enough. This game oozes class (pun intended) and while it's based on a simple premise the execution is practically without fault. Guide you goo balls to the exit pipe by joining them together to make a scaffold like tower, new goo types are introduced as the game progresses and before you know it you'll be going back over the levels you've finished trying for the "OCD" bonuses. The art direction and music is top drawer and it's DRM free when downloaded from 2dboy.com. Fully recommended.
