What can I say? March 19, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Don't want to use superficial words or anything but this cable brilliant. Before i got it i had an idea of how much the picture quality would increase but i was blown away. The text is much better defined, the colour and sharpness is perfect. (perfect in terms of what i have seen so far) It IS better than the S-Video cable too, which a lot of people think, the official site dispels that rumour. Although expensive, bargains can be found like me who bought a brand new one for a fiver. It is meant to be grey, but since the launch of PS2 they have been re-made as black (to tie in I guess) so the grey ones can too be found very cheap, (but they are exactly the same apart from colour). The cable takes it a step further when used with a 60hz compatible game. So far i have tried it on Soul Calibur 2 and Takken 4 and there is no flicker and the games are fullscreen, I'm not sure what else to say to persuade you but the cable is definitely worth it, especially for the perfectionist.
At last! 60HZ! November 30, 2001 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
If you are lucky enough to of bought a PlayStation 2 game which features the new 60HZ option, then you may be a little peeved that on most TV sets, the picture becomes black and white. (Monochrome to you technical minded people...)Well, it may be pricey, but this Euro-AV lead, or scart lead, is perfect for letting you see your full-speed, full-screen 60HZ games in all their multi-colour glory! The only downfall? If you watch DVD movies on your PlayStation 2, the picture is green. Yes, green! Oh well, go buy a decent DVD player instead! Ahem...
