 A bit of a disappointment! November 19, 2008

After looking forward to this game since it was mentioned to be released, i brought it as soon as i could, only to be disappointed once i had looked at the songs. It's missing many of the good disney songs, with numerous songs picked being tricky to sing along to and could have been replaced with much better songs! Also in the duets, such as in circle of life, one player is given the monotonous task of singing a single line over and over while the other player gets to sing the whole of the main part! Apart from the odd good disney song, this game has been quite a disappointment. I would suggest spending the money on a more worthwhile singstar game and sing along to a disney cd instead!

I was so excited when I heard about this game - I love Disney and I enjoy Singstar so thought this was a match made in heaven.
I was a little disappointed when I saw the track listing but I figured it was paving the way for the next disk, not to have all the classics on there.
Playing through the game (in battle mode - as that is the only way to do it, obviously) some of the songs are incredibly difficult and the enforced harmonies just make it a whole lot harder.
Try Circle of Life on battle mode - seriously! My boyfriend still has nightmares about being subjected to it.. one player sings the entire song in an african dialect and the other has the impossible job of hearing the music over the top of player 1 so they can actually sing the melody. The result is not pretty!!
That said, some of the tracks are great fun and we do still manage to enjoy playing.. I just think it could have been amazing, and its not!

i bought this game before i knew the track list thinking it would just be like the disney cds you buy. after waiting so long on this game it finally arrived and i couldnt have been more disapointed. the many songs that were missing off this game(great disney classics like pocahontas, snow white, hercules, fox and the hound, mary poppins, etc...) the songs that do feature are just short songs lasting only a minute or so or are the not so great song of the particular movie. as a BIG disney fan i hope there will be another singstar disney with better songs in the near future!

I've been waiting a long time for Disney to release a Singstar game that doesn't feature songs from High School Musical and when I heard about this game I was so excited, until I saw the track list. I am so disappointed that a lot of the classic Disney songs such as Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid, Colours of the wind from Pocahontas and Reflections from Mulan, are missing. I feel that the track list is stupid and unacceptable. I for one will forgo buying this disappointing game.

Hi my little sister who i am buying this game for would like to say something...
i'm getting this for my birthday. i've wanted there to be a disney singstar for ages
i hope there is more pocahontas songs on there i am so excited!!!!!!!
