I purchased this to play music on my Nokia 6301 mobile which has a 2.5mm Jack socket through the 3.5mm AUX imput in my Car. As described the contacts are gold plated and the music repoduction is fine. I use it in conjunction with a Kingston 2GB Mico sd card Kingston 2gb Micro SD card with 2 adaptors in retail packaging puchased through Add-ons world which is another good product, with good read/write speeds, great if you dont want CD's clogging up your car and don't want to carry a seperate mp3 player around.
