great little amp August 4, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
i bought the MS2 to use with my electric guitar and i'm really impressed by it. i like it because it sounds great and at full volume is very loud despite its small size. it's very handy for home use but it's also nice that you can use a battery and then take it anywhere. you get a really cool rock/metal sound from it. great little gadget.
Nothing to do with Nintendo or DS May 22, 2008 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
This mini-amp is for an electric guitar. See the Marshall website. I have tried submitting a product review to Amazon but they have returned it and declined to make any changes. If you have an Electric or Acoustic Electric Guitar this is a superb product. If you are looking for an amp for a DS this is not the product for you since it was not designed for that purpose and you will have problems connecting up to it. Excellent for Guitar but rubbish for a Nintendo.
Nintendo DS, DS Lite? September 12, 2007 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
While this product claims it's for a DS or DS Lite here in the Amazon listing, it comes with no connectors and has absolutely no reference to Nintendo on the packaging or in the instructions, which show you merely how to connect a guitar. Connecting it to your DS is going to involve a a guitar lead and a small (3.5mm) plug to large (6.35mm) socket jack adaptor, and of course, if you're on a standard DS, the headphones adaptor. Once you get past the daisy chain, though, I'm sure the product is a lot of fun when combined with Jam Sessions. The lack of connections/instructions are my only reason for deducting stars.
