A Beautiful Disaster November 17, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Want to hear the real review for this game? Look here! To start off i'd like to say that this game does not look like a 2008 release, and they said that about Saints Row 2. The graphics in this game are so broken and buggy that it feels like the developers only spent two minutes on this tripe. The gameplay is actually pretty good compared To Blacksite or something, I had good fun with the controls except if you mind occasional glitches and loading times during gameplay. And finally The Presentation. The presentation in this game is weak and is exactly the same as the graphics, Shoddy, broken and buggy. Overall, the gameplay is nice and fun, clearly simple but the graphicas and presenation just should of stayed in the cooker for a little while longer. Overall 5.0 out 10.
Rubbish November 15, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Hello. Well I'll keep this short. Bought this instead of Dead Space as I really liked the sound of it, Monsters, War, destruction and all but hey presto, it stinks. Even the cut scenes suffer from slow down, how is that possble?? Poor graphics, rubbish controls, nofun. Pah, gonna have o trade it in and lose who knows how much. Do yourself a favour and avoid.
A very disappointing game. One of the worst of 2008. November 11, 2008 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
When I heard the premise for 'Legendary' I thought, wow - this game could be one of the best games of 2008. Basically the idea is that Charles Deckard, an art thief, is duped into stealing Pandora's Box. When he inadvertently opens it, he releases hordes of beasts thought to be fictional - such as werewolves and gryphons - into an unprepared modern world. A full scale war between man and myth begins, and it is quickly complicated by the actions of powerful secret societies. Sounds good doesn't it? Well it's not. It is a horrible game that has sub-standard graphics and animations, the sound and music are terrible and feel strange and out of place, the game is ridiculously short and there is no online mode whatsoever, only one multiplayer mode which is rubbish and no replay value. Quite simply put, the biggest flop of 2008, with no exceptions. DO NOT BUY IT.
