Is the game over already ???? November 12, 2008 After playing the delightful Lego Starwars I was hoping Lego batman would be as fun. The answer is yes, it is fun, but too darn short!! My daughter and I played through it together in story mode and finished the game in 2 - 3 hours time. Ok, we weren't looking for all the hidden items, but even then the game should last longer than this.
The game is also a poor port and is plagued with slow-down and screen tearing even on 60hz mode.
I get the feeling the game was rushed out and sadly could have been so much better.
Dont be a fool like myself and pay full price or you'll regret it.
GREAT November 4, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I usually never play games. I ended up one weekend ages ago playing lego starwars and loving it. Was not sure if Batman would live up to it, and it did. My 6 year old son and I had a fantastic weekend and half-term playing, our favorite was playing the villain games. We have been talking about which one is better, and we are still undecided. The characters in this are fantastic. I am a firm fan of the lego game series, I think for my sons age (and possibly mine) its brilliant.
Great fun October 14, 2008 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
The Lego series continues to amaze - my kids would love a Spider-man or Harry Potter version too. The ability to play as a villain is great fun. My only niggle is that compared to the Star Wars and Iniana Jones games, this doesn't seem to have as much complexity (the Prima guide is very thin) and I reckon this will be completed by my 6 year old in a matter of weeks!
