The very best mmorpg November 22, 2008 ok, i have been playing wow for 1 year and all i can say is WOW!! it truly is supurb, the sheer amaount of things to acheve in this game is never ending, i am sure you could play it for 20 years and not do everything in the game as the developers are always adding more content. i am not going into detail as to what this game is about as i feel other reviews have touched on this, i will say that it is VERY ADDICTIVE and will (with no self control) suck you in and make you play 10 hour sessions at a time. there is always 1 more quest to do or 1 more dungeon to raid or 1 more level to get. for sure if you are a casual gamer this probably will not be for you as the time you must invest is great, but the rewards are great too. there is a subscription of roughly 8.99 p/m but this can be paid in many different ways like credit cards or pre paid game cards you can pick up through your local videogame shop. this is a revolutionary game that i would reccomend to anyone who loves videogames, you owe it to yourself to check out. buy it now and get lost in the world of warcraft.............
Fun, Adictive and so much to do. November 20, 2008 I must admit I had my doubts when I was advised by a friend to download World of Warcraft. I've played many other MMORPG's and I was worried that it wouldn't live up to the standards of some of my favourites. After playing the trial, I just couldn't let go of my account. World of Warcraft offers countless numbers of things to do, Massive Player vs Player battles , Excting Dungeons and raids, thousands of quests, a massive achievment system, skills and proffesions. whats more you can create up to 60 characters on just one account. If all this isn't worth your money then no game is. Buy World of Warcraft and you will not regret it. Be sure to manage your time however, it sure can be addictive.
The Greatest Game! October 2, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
WoW is undoubtably the greatest game created so far. I have to agree with those who warn of possible addiction. It will take months to get to level 70 (soon to be level 80) and that is where the game really begins. You will then meet people who will really show you what a noob (novice) you are and this is after several months of playing! The game is so time consuming that at the top level you haven't got time to do both PvE (player v the environment) and PvP (player v player) so you have to specialise to become really good in one or the other.
The game reigns supreme but it does have its competitors. Warhammer Online has just been realised and may prove to be as good (doubtful as I find the combat ponderous). The next expansion for WoW is just around the corner and the game will be even better and more time consuming.
So in summary: fantastic game but be prepared to put in a huge amount of time if you want to reach the level of the top players.
Not so exotic... August 18, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I played this game for 2months and it really is a time waster. As you progress with them game youll find that the quests are similar to countless others, and all you are really playing for is higher levels for better stuff, and i say it is a time waster as it is addictive as you will find a need to set goals and keep playing until you achieve them, whether leveling to get a mount etc. But if you want to spend your money on a game just to spend time do it, but beware you may get addicted and your life may take a turn...
Great fun August 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
All i can say is WOW! lol I thoroughly enjoy playing World of warcraft and will continue to do so for a long time to come. The graphics are great, character creation is inspiring and once you ignore some of the immature people who play it becomes a great world to step into. The world is massive and there is always something to do. I would highly recommend this game!
