Good, but too short August 23, 2008 Overall the gameplay is fair, but the single player campaign felt too short, each of the 14 missions last around 20 minutes. If you start playing at lunch time you can finish by bed time. I would recommend borrowing from a friend or renting this game before committing to buy it.
The game has its share of bugs too. The most annoying has to be a looping sound right at the end of the first mission. The sound stops when you complete the mission, but it causes some future sounds to "drop", the fix is to exit the game (after saving your progress) and then run it again.
There is another bug with the game failing to spawn enemies, preventing you from progressing the mission. The solution is to restart the mission.
I was disappointed to find that replaying a mission does not give you the chance to gain new medals. Instead you need to start over with a new save game.
ok but not worth the money June 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
good game but not many missions and gets really boring after you've completed it. overall i dont think its worth the money. get yourself a ps3 if you want to go on a decent shooting game. DO NOT Buy its not worth it
Very Good Game March 27, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The gameplay is really quite good and it is quite challenging to finish it on veteran. There are loads of different guns and different emplacements that you can use. The campaign is pretty long as well which means that there is plenty of gameplay to get from it. The whole game has a lot of information about various guns etc. as well.
The multiplayer feature looks good (although I never actually used it).
The only letdowns were control system and the absence of a skirmish or quickplay feature.
Great game - must for COD fans... October 27, 2007 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
great game! certainly for the ultimate cod experience (or fps in general) pc/mac is the way to go. Considering this is on the psp - its EXCELLENT! control system does let it down - takes a while to get used to and can be frustrating at first cos its so slow to move ur character around - like a tanker ship. After awhile, u get used to the controls, and plays quite smoothly, the only time u notcie the controls is if u have a nazi behind u battering his gun butt on ya head and try to turn down quickly - lukily this is rare.
nice feature is bonus material - unlock 'play with unlimited ammo, grenades' etc...and detailed info on the guns used in the game and the artilliery etc plus movies of ww2 game modes are quite evenly balanced - veteran (the hardest level) is not impossible (on that now)
graphics 9/10 sound 10/10 gameplay 9/10
overall 9/10 and must for any cod fans - u cant beat taking out a few nazis, especially on the train etc...

A first person shooter that actually works on the PSP, great graphics & lasts longer than most.
