Wicked Awesome November 29, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this game I first got it on PS2 and then it came out on PSP so i decided to get it. It is really good while there is one slight problem: It is extremely short! Most levels are taken out (WHICH IS WHY I'VE GIVEN IT 4 STARS, BECAUSE STATION T IS MY FAVE LEVEL!!!) and are replaced with level challenges eg. In level 1: Defeat Helicopter in under 1 minute.
If your a bond game lover, this is for you!
good game but a bit fiddly May 1, 2006 9 out of 12 found this review helpful
this is your typical bond game with some nice little touches e.g focus mode (an accurate targeting system). As a game i would give it 5 stars but overall because the psp contols make it more difficult than it should be i gave it 4 stars
Great fun game with movie clips and Connery's voice April 28, 2006 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
Review written by a 40 yr-old bloke! This game works really well on the PSP. Between each scene you get a good quality animated movie clip to explain the storyline. You can go through the game as an 'operative' and then upgrade to 007 agent level. Some great fun gadgets to use along the way like jetpack, Q-Copter, bakooka etc. It uses the analogue stick to move about and L & R buttons for weapon aim and firing. If you fail a particular mission you can choose to go back to a previous checkpoint rather than start the whole mission again. I got stuck in the Consulate part just after the bomb goes off - so a tip to help you - use the Q-copter to fly through the broken air vent in the wall and unlock the door to the next room. From Russia with Love has always been one of the best 007 movies and if you like the film this is a great game as many of the scenes and the storyline are similar. There's a Gypsy camp, Train, Consulate, Aston Martin etc.....
Great Game April 15, 2006 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a great game for the PSP, and it is a promising start to what should be a successful era of James Bond games on the PSP. The graphics are great during gameplay, although I thought they could of been bumped up a bit for the mission completion videos. Sean Connery's likeness is apparent, and his voice really adds something to the game. The story line is good too, seeing as it doesn't follow the film's religously. It's a very fun and exciting game, and at some points I was entirely emersed in the game, on the edge of my seat trying to defeat some enemies with the great gadgets your equipped with. The levels are great aswell, with extra missions that break away from the story (for example, racing you Q-Copter round a previosly completed level). The multiplayer is great aswell, even with AI oppenents. The reason I have not given this game 5 stars is beacuse of it's length. It is too short. I completed it in a day. Of course, you can't say a game's bad because of its length, but it does help to have a long game which you are able to play weeks after purchase. For instance GTA was a long game, one that I still haven't completed (I got it last Christmas). Maybe they took up space on the UMD with the graphics? All in all though, From Russia With Love is a great, but short-lived, game.

I think that this game is great. It handals nice and the graphics are beautiful. The RPG style upgradeing system is also a nice feature which as you go along through the games helps you alot.
There is a problem with the camera with keeps accuring throughout the psp games. I belive however that this is not a problem and only makes an appearence now and then through the game.
On a the bad side though it is quite short game but that isnt a problem as you get into the mini-games and the multiplayer. Also i think it is lacking a good driving mission.
On the whole though this is an absouloute must have on the psp and will set out to be a classic amongst all psp games out at the moment.
