251mb Memory Card. April 12, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the best memory card you can buy on the Gamecube. Buy one now and you will never need to buy a memory card again. I have 25 games and I can fit them all on the memory card. Buy it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its a memory card - enough said February 13, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
no seriously it is enough!Ok you want a review... well it isn't going to be amazing. Ok.. you bought a game for your gamecube, you play it for a while and think I need to go somewhere or want to play another game! let me save my progress (on selected titles)... BAM! darn no memory card! I better buy one.... LOL only joking, this is probably the only type of memory card you need. 251 Blocks is a lot of space really, most GC games only use between 1-5 blocks, although you do get some that may require more (Sims Bustin out being one of them) This is the official Nintendo Memory card, so you shouldn't have any problems with it. There is also a 59 block card, but it is best to go for the bigger card, and it isn't all that expensive. So if you do need a memory card to save, then do yourself a favour and buy the official one, I rather know that my data is safe on a official card then currupt on a unofficial card (I have had this problem!)
Essential for all GameCube users! January 9, 2005 An essential purchase. I first bought a standard 59 block memory card with my Cube and while it did the job fine, it filled up too quickly - some of my games took up 20 blocks at a time and I know of some games that even take up 50 and over blocks per save. So I bought the 251 memory card, which should be the only card you need. I have yet to fill mine (I have 20+ titles) and it works faultlessly. It's only a few quid more than the 59 block one, so you have no excuse!
The only card worth considering December 26, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Long years of gaming have taught me the hard way: there's nothing like official merchandise. With a controller this seems more obvious (3rd party are never as comfy), but with a memory card it's just as important, if not more so. A memory card is an *essential* item; without it, you can't save games, so it's not a question of "if" you should buy one, nor even "when", just which one, and I can't emphasise it enough: get a Nintendo one. I've had a multitude of problems with 3rd party memory cards in the past, and losing a completed save game, or one you're playing through, can be heartbreaking, and put you off ever finishing a game. The 2 Nintendo ones are the 59 block card and this 251 block card. You can go with the 59 if you wish, but you'll just end up needing another one too soon. I've had one of these for a couple of years now, since I got my Gamecube, and I've only just filled it up - 25 games later. Unless you're planning on devoting your earnings to your Gamecube like me, this is the only card you'll ever need.

first i dont actually have this. my first memory card was twice the sizeof a normal one at the same price and unofficial. Then i became a seriousgamer and needed another one. this time i got a 59 block card and im justabout to need another one. now the thing about the first one was it wasbigger and wouldn't fitin the case so it had to be lose when carriedaboutit coud get broken like that. it allways needs formating but i dontbecause it loses all your data and often says its damadged so i cant savethat time. ive completed almost all my games so if it were to break iwould be sooooo pissed of. so now im going to by this one it sounds great!
