Cheap Plastic - Bad quality March 10, 2008 1 out of 9 found this review helpful
Please take a second to give a good review. I purchased the Elite 360 package and day 1 started the game and within 10 minutes, the right joystick started to lock! the trigger was making creaky noise and the console tray where you put the DVD is another piece of cheap plastic. looks like all's made and shipped from china or something..
no doubt the console itself is amazing - and the games are superb - but the quality of the product is very very bad! i have the original xbox and the controllers over there are perfectly solid!!! Just because it's XBOX, it doesnt mean that all's rose & wine! - very dissapointed for the money i paid!
Good for passive gamers February 3, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
These are great lag-free controllers, especially if you only play your Xbox 360 every now and again. However, beware if you're a vivid gamer. If you play for hours on end then you'll find that the controller literally eats up batteries and you'll end up draining a pack of 24 batteries quite quickly. You'll find that you'll need to invest in a charger if you want to stop guzzling up the batteries. (It's really annoying having to change batteries in the middle of an online match.) It would probably be adbisable to have an extra controller readily charged in case of needing to switch quickly. If you're playing with other people you will need at least 2 wireless controllers for 4 people and 1 for 3 people as the Xbox 360 only has two USB slots for wired controllers which is a pain.
Apart from that all the rest about the controller is great comfort wise and fits into all shapes of hands (although young children may find it slightly difficult to reach some buttons whilst holding others). The reception of the controller is very good as well, it can receive through walls as well!

X Box 360 controller November 25, 2007 1 out of 18 found this review helpful
My example of this controller broke after 13 months because the headset connection appears to very flimsy and the central pin in the controller broke. This breakage rendered both the controller and the headset useless. I had to buy another controller (wired this time) and a new headset. I beleive that Microsoft should carry put a design review.
Excelent November 18, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really hated M$ until I played on the xBox 360. The controller is really comfortable and IMO the best product Microsoft has ever created.
