Brilliant fun January 29, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I'm afraid I'm a grown up and I love this game. However I play with my son and beats me every time. Still I do think it keeps the grey matter active.
Good for about a week. January 22, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was given this for christmas, i really wanted this game so i was sooo happy. I done it everyday for about 2weeks, but then...it kind of got forgotten, it is quite boring to be truthfull, its ok for a few day's, but in the end, you just cant be botherd with it!..its the same thing over and over again..I would recommend it, as it is fun for the first few weeks and it is cheap!! just dont expect to remember to do it everyday. Because you wont.
Great Fun, But Voice Recognition Issues Can Cause Frustration!! January 19, 2008 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
Got this for Christmas and have to say, I'm addicted! The more you practice, the better you get, (obvious really!) and the more choice of challenges you get added!
However, was very pleased to read other reviews that also commented on the voice recognition problems and mis-intepretation of text. Thought it was just me!
As regards the voice part, it becomes most annoying in the Stroop test. The one where you have to say the colour, not the word. It always has problems with the colour Blue! You can have the odd day where it works like a dream, but for the most part, you almost wanna take a sledgehammer to it! I also had similar problems, with it not recognising certain numbers I was saying, in the voice calculations. Got it to work eventually, but not before having to have a strong drink to calm my anger!
The text recognition thing is annoying at times, (you right a number, but it comes back with something totally different!!) Thankfully this is quite rare though.
So if you take away the annoyance of the voice recognition, this really is a very worthwhile game and I'd thoroughly recommend you buy it!
Learning but fun January 10, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
A very educational game including suduko, reading aloud, memory tests and more, anyone could own this and call it their best game.
Doesn't recognise verbal answers ... January 8, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
... most of the time.
It is, however, great fun. You start to compete against yourself to see if you can better your previous scores.
The multi player game choice is a little poor, but the solo play is great fun. The Doctors, tips can be a little long winded and I tend to find myself hitting the "next" button a lot.
It also contains a lot of sudoku puzzles - I'd never tried these before but they're actually quite addictive.
