consider this if u need a wii remote... March 18, 2008 for the sake of a few pounds extra,if u are looking for a 2nd wiimote, and have kids 5-12 yrs, this is worth having.it is NOT wii sports by a long shot, but 10 minigames to teach wiimote functions. a couple stand out (shooting and cow racing!!)
Definitely worth it for the money March 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is worth getting since it is only a few pounds more than a separate controller anyway. You won't play the games that often, but they are fun and do get you into using the control.
GREAT GAME March 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this game!!! My son who is nine love the bouble game he calls it. But i find it a little bit hard to twist but over all i just love it. My fave game is the cow riding so dose my daughter. If your looking for a game GET THIS ONe !!!!!!!!!! :) :)
I got this for 35 and its brill! March 6, 2008 I got the wii console as a distraction for my mum who is house bound, and its something that I would enjoy also. I bought the game 1st'ly for the wiimote and 2ed'ly for the game. I was so so glad that i got it cos of the different types of games, that loads of us can play together, and that there are levels to it (the better you do you can get to a gold medal standard). Addictive and loads of fun esp. with loads of players.Def a family friendly game.
Wii'ly Addictive February 12, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is effectively a very budget game considering how much the `wii-stick' would cost separately.
I watched my missus run through each of the nine games, and whilst each game acted as a tutorial in the art of `Wii-stick' waggling, I thought the games looked okay - but nothing spectacular. Infact, I though some looked a bit poor.
But when I had a go at them I realised how great they really are! Shooting Range is a modern adaptation of Duck Hunt, so the concept is simple, but the game is addictive. And the rest of the games follow suit - basic concepts, most being quite familiar from past games, but very playable.
My favourite game is Tanks - a brilliant little game in which you manoeuvre a little tank around an arena to try blow up the opposing tanks.
In a nutshell: The graphics are good but not mind blowing, but this is an example of what Nintendo are best at - bringing out games which might not be as graphically mind blowing as many others, but are highly addictive - and with the two player modes a whole new dimension of competitiveness is added! The Cow Racing game (although not the best racing game ever) has definitely wetted my appetite for Mario Kart Wii when it comes out! Excellent value for money.
