More than a little disturbing July 3, 2007 7 out of 33 found this review helpful
Am I the only person who found Mama's constant cry of 'You're not mine!' disconcerting? It might be less traumatic for children to play Godfather: Blackhand Edition.
Ideal for Kids June 18, 2007 33 out of 39 found this review helpful
Hi I bought this game with my 8 year old daughter in mind. I've had a go and it does nothing for me. However my daughter and my nephew (aged 5) have been glued to the wii ever since. I think the game does have merit because even though the graphics and controls are crude, my kids are gaining a greater insight into how meals are prepared without the risks of cuts and burns. And a big plus is I don't have to taste what they Produce :)
SOOOO ANOYING June 5, 2007 25 out of 49 found this review helpful
THIS GAME IS REALLY BORING AND ANNOYING, IM 13 AND I CANT BELIEVE I WASTED 40 ON THIS GAME. FOR STARTERS THE VOICE OVER IS SOOOO ANOYING, AND DOING RECIPICES OVER AND OVER AGAIN GETS REALLY BORING. HOWEVER MY FREINDS 11 AND SHE ABSOLUTLY LOVES THIS GAME. ONLY BUY IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN!!!
kids only May 31, 2007 18 out of 30 found this review helpful
i bought this because my son said he wanted it hes only 5 so i thought why not and i have to agree with most people have been saying its rubbsh for adults but great fun for the kids it certainly gives him a better understanding of how the controls work i would not buy i for myself but he loves it so if u an adult only rent or borrow it for kids yeah get it he seems now to understand why it takes me ages to cook things in the kitchen:)
This could have been so much better May 30, 2007 23 out of 32 found this review helpful
I was planning to buy this on its release. Luckily I had the chance to play this in Nintendo World in New York during my holidays, and I can't see the fun in the gameplay. Mama tells you what needs to be done at each stage, and how the Wii remote needs to be moved to successfully complete that part. That's basically it. I tired of this quite quickly, feeling uninvolved.
The graphics are nothing special and functional.
Perhaps the two player option would be a bit more fun.
