believe the hype January 2, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this game as a gift and im ashamed to say i've spent more time playing it that than the intended recipient, its a great game, very entertaining with a good variety of games.
The down side to it (if any) is the Rock Paper Scissors game, its a little tedious and can sometimes stop you progressing through the game.
voice/text recognition very poor January 1, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've only had this game since Christmas and only have the first 4or5 games unlocked and while I am enjoying the new games (I played the original 3-4 times a week for about 6 months and was getting a bit bored with them) I'm having awful problems with the machine recognising what I am saying/writing.
Of the games so far, I can't play rock/paper/scissors (and English is my first language) and on the days/dates game, It recognises when I write 'SUN' but not 'SAT' so as a result, I can't answer any question with a Saturday as an answer.
And I thought they would have changed the "well aren't you a trooper....'line from the 1st game!
My brain hurts! December 31, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Only had this game for a few days and was very dubious due to all the hype around the "Brain Training" series and also because I have never played the first one!
My first go I was pretty rubbish and thought the game was too. But after going through the game properly, I can see why it is so good and so addictive. I love the way it interacts with you; for example, if you turn it on at 6 o'clock it'll say "How nice to see you this evening. I hope you've had a good day" or something like that. Never got Suduko but I am now addicted and my brain age has already come down from 50 to 45! Haha! Im 21, so a bit more work to go I think.
Would recommend.

More Brain Training December 28, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I brought this game yesterday and have been very impressed. It is so different to other console games; this alone makes it worth having. It might even make your brain, eeerrrrrr, better ?
