More Brain Training December 28, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I brought this game yesterday and have been very impressed. It is so different to other console games; this alone makes it worth having. It might even make your brain, eeerrrrrr, better ?
Great!!! December 21, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
First, i would like to comment on the 2 star reveiw. The game is not a game you have to complete, and two you are supposed to play it for only a little bit each day. You obviously dont buy it for an action packed play 2 hours a day game. This game is really fun, and has improved my brain. I already find maths and remembering things easier. I would really recomend this game. Its fun too because theres loads of hidden secrets. Like if you hold down select and click brain training..... im not going to tell you what happens... hope this helps
addicted to virus buster December 15, 2007 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
My daughter has had the nintendo ds lite for nearly a year, and I was never very interested in any of her games..That is until recently when I bought more brain training and became instantly hooked. My brain age started in the 90s but with daily training it is now younger than me! I love the virus buster and have become almost addicted to it. My only gripe is that the system only stores your virus buster score once (after your daily training) and after that it doesn't. The otherproblem with the game is that some of the games need voice recognition and mishear you. But apart from these little niggles I highly recommend it to all. Get the nintendo DS lite off those kids! Now where did she hide it this time...
i never knew work could be fun!! December 4, 2007 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
and it doesnt feel like your doing work, all the games are strangely enjoyable even though its basically maths and english. this installment has a great new list of tasks, although if you've played the original some may seem a bit familiar, but on the whole its a completely different game.
as for voice recognition, i know it can be a problem but you can get round it by saying you can't speak and do written tests instead, but i have to say, i have had few problems playing rock, paper scissors but it might just be me.
it is the most addictive game i own for my ds, and no matter what you'll keep coming back to play it, even if he does say your brain is tired and your a pensioner when really your in your teens. that brings me to another point, the game isnt designed for teenagers (getting a brain age of 20 is something you cant really do if your not 20) so its great if you want to introduce your family into gaming, and as it essentially has no genre should be good for just about anyone. it plugs the gap in your english and maths and you will be good to have that whatever your age or profession. As a student its brilliant, because at uni you learn and focus all (well maybe all) of your energy about one area of study, and playing this every day just fills in the blanks for all the others important ones.
seriously a great game for any age, gamer or non gamer. just exceptionally good

I wanted this game so much I ended up sprinting to the shop in case they run out of them and it was certainly worth it. There are so many different excercises and you can also test you Brain Age and play sudoku! My favourite excercise is Masterpiece Recital but all the other ones are super too!
