Guitar hero with drums bass and mic January 11, 2008 0 out of 16 found this review helpful
The track listing seems completly weak in my opinion and with only half as many songs as guitar hero seems a bit of a rip esspecially with the 100-150 price tag thats been rumored, but the guitar hero series was amazing and i dont expect any less from this, nothing more satisfing than 5 starring a song youve been practicing for ages or rocking out to a metallica riff.
drums January 3, 2008 2 out of 27 found this review helpful
"Someone said somewhere that if you mastered these drums you should consider playing them in a real band. Err, no. Play real drums. "
erm no.
someone actually said if you can master the drums on the hardest level then youre good enough to play real drums.
not that you should use the RB drums in a real band, how would that even work?
Problems with the game in the US... December 17, 2007 6 out of 30 found this review helpful
I've heard rumours over in the US that the Guitar has a tendency to break after only a few hours use. Hopefully they will fix this before it hits the UK, but I wait with baited breath and may not even purchase it on release. Its going to be very expensive (150 - 200), and I'm not prepared to put down that kind of cash on a faulty product...
Out in USA December 1, 2007 0 out of 19 found this review helpful
It's already out in America my American buddies play it all the time. sucks that UK is always last
it just a matter of waiting... November 16, 2007 23 out of 44 found this review helpful
Its all about patents
Unfortunately, here in the uk we have been once again shafted and will have to wait until 2008 for this one, but my friends... do not be hiesty and settle for Guitar hero III just because of the wait... as the saying goes good things come to those that wait
This game IS guitar hero III, plus drum hero, plus Bass Hero, Plus Front Man Hero... oh and it has better tunes (at least from a UK perspective) and.... The downloadable content is MEGA. By the time it comes out here the whole of NEVERMIND! By NIRVANA! Will be available for the game.
The whole game of creating the band and living it is a much deeper and richer experience than just working though a list of tracks in the guitar hero games. And how does it play... well its by the original developers who have also made drumming and singing games, so you know its just going to work perfectly. Initial reviews from the USA rate it between 9.5 and 10.
If playing alone you have the guitar, drum and vocal campaigns to play though, but then, Friday night with the boys (and beer) kicks in and this game comes into its own!
Do yourself a favour, wait... it will be worth it
And if your that desperate.. call of duty 4 and orange box are out there... plus mass effect is on its way!
