WORST IN SERISE November 5, 2008 0 out of 24 found this review helpful
This game is terrible If you enjoyed Mario Kart on any other format DS/GC/GB/N64 etc then you will NOT repeat NOT enjoy this.
The stupid wheel is rubbish for controling the Kart, the stats are badly chosen so all the karts handle poorly and the addition of motor bikes makes no sense.
The online is the only redeeming quality but even that is poor. the lobbying feels like it was done in MS excel and there is hardly any interaction with the opponants like in Live.
AT a best this game is a rent only title.
AND I A NINTENDO FAN BOY BTW AND I HATED THIS GAME WHICH SHOWS HOW BAD IT IS
good and not so good October 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is a really good game and i would highly reccomend it . The only problem is is that unlocking the secret characters, corses, carts and bikes is a bit of a pain. I couldnt unlock any for ages so i ended up buying a cheats book !
Best wii driving game October 21, 2008 I bought this game over a month ago and am still playing it! The more you play it the more you unlock. Its amusing to see your mii in the game with mario and otheres. It is easyer than most driving games as you acctully stear yourself!

Mario kart is a great game for family and friends to play on. You can unlock new characters, bikes and karts and also new courses to play on.
ok, not amazing October 14, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was dying to get this game for the months preceding the release and whem i got it I was somewhat dissapointed. Don't get me wrong, its fun and all but there is a sense that all of the skill has been removed from the game, for example you no longer need to control the power slides with the option to use automatic drift. I do like the new found ability to do tricks and to use motor cycles. The online play is brilliant, the only way they could have made it better would have been to include voice chat but then that would ruin the game for some people. The thing i have always liked about mario-kart games is that amazing levels are met with amazin names and music, I'm not impressed with nintendo's attempts to do that this time, oh well. In conclusion, borrow this game or pick it up cheep somewhere and if you want to play a grat mario-kart game get one of the predecessors such as "mario kart double dash" or "mario kard DS". Mario kart wii is ok but not amazing.
