Great Game. Lots of fun. And not as pricey as the RRP. Games are about fun and this game is superb.
Totall shambles! June 22, 2008 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
What a load of crap this deal is!
its bad enough that EA & Harmonix epect us to fork out 130 quid for a bunch of controllers! let along go out & spend another 50 quid on the saoftware! if you want this game get it imported from the states it will work out alot cheaper & i think im goign to stick to guitar hero from know on atleast activision have fair prices for their "bundles" but i can still see Guitar Hero World Tour costing around the same price (130)
Outrageous pricing. June 16, 2008 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
EA should be taken to court for exploiting the European market like this. I have a feeling their marketing department will find these types of comments hugely amusing as they know they will sell heaps whatever. It is abhorrent that such arrogance is tolerated but I fear most consumers won't know just how much they are being ripped off.
Wow! June 16, 2008 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
OK Yes it is expensive, and yes the price should be dropped some.
However, if you forget about the money and only look at the game its AMAZING, ok I have gh2 & gh3, but this is worth it for the drums alone.
Great game - even better with friends
Total Rip Off June 15, 2008 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
Band in a box? No, it isn't - it is just a load of controllers which are completely useless without the software which is another fifty quid.
The publishers have decided to milk the UK market for what it can get. This version of the game in the US has the software included which is as it should be.
Please, please - everyone, avoid this title and let the publishers know that we are no going to be taken for a ride anymore. What they are doing is disgusting. Even given fluctuating exchange rates (the usual excuse for the price differential), the fact they have REMOVED an essential part of the product for this market shows their cynical approach to selling in the UK and Europe.
Absolutely disgraceful.
