This package doesn't come with the game software, and the pricing is a little over the top but if you can afford this game i would encourage you to go and blow most families weekly food budget on it everyone in the family will enjoy this game.

This game is fantastic.
I too was very apprehensive about spending quite alot of money on one game. The price I am told, is to do with the fact the game is made here in the UK, while all the instruments come from China, not to mention the high tax rates and better economic situation in this country.
I got this game on Thursday and it is everything you think it will be. The game has 3 instruments with it, the guitar, drums and bass.
The guitar is cool. If you have played guitar hero, you know exactly what to expect. Press coloured buttons in time with the music. The "note charts" here feel much better than guitar hero, with alot less of a learning curve between difficulties.
The drums are the star if you will. At first I couldnt do it, I was so un coordinated, but with every song I can feel it getting better, and playing Paranoid by Black Sabbath was so much fun I felt like I was actually playing the drums.
The vocals I think will come into their own at parties. Exactly how you think it will be, sing the song in the same tune as the song. I thought i would neglect this area of the song but when Queens of the Stone Age came up, I had to bust out the vocals.
Overall the only problems I have with this are the poor quality plastic the guitar is made from. It has a bit too much "flex" in it but by no means does it feel like it will splinter in my hands. There were loads of complaints from the USA about the drums breaking which I always have in the back of my mind however I can't see how they break, they feel quite well made.
Like I said, the price tag will become justified when you have 3 mates round rocking out. It is just a cool game.

This game is amazing! Its so much fun!
Drums, Guitar, and Singing are all very fun!
But... Theres so many wires, and the price of it over here in the UK...
like, its $79.99 for drums in the USA, and its 79.99 for the drums here in the UK! WHAT THE HELL!!!
Soo many wires!!! I've tripped over then 4 times or more in the 2 days I've had this.
Also, I've already had fault with my guitar =/ the strum down bar works when it wants, so I need to get that replaced already!
I only brought it here on amazon cause it was less money then all the game shops, and I had the money sitting idle in my bank.
But, I'm not too bother over the price I paid for the game and band in a box, cause it really is fun!

Make sure you have thick walls and floors, I couldnt play because of neighbour complaints.....kick-ass game, bit pricey

Well I brought rock band on Friday and what can I say, it is amazing. Yeah you may think it is expensive but you get drums, guitar, microphone. Me and my bf have had hours of fun on this and taking it in turns between everything. The drums are really hard to get use to and the singing is great. The world tour you go on is fantastic.
Would defo recommend
