The irony is this game is rated 12+ yet I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over 12 years old. I hate this game and I wish I'd never bought it.
Biggest annoyances:
any game levels with Lisa in them (boring!)
repetitive annoying game play
characters saying the same things over and OVER
poor humour
Good bits:
Homer (any bits with Homer) and fighting Bender(s) and Bart's gliding ability (upgraded).

i'd like to open by saying that the simpsons rule, as did simpsons road rage and hit & run.
but this game? where do i start? the graphics are awful, the camera gives you a massive headache and the gameplay is tiresome.
after seeing the adverts for this game i couldn't wait to get my hands on, but even though i began it optimistically, i ended realising it is just a waste of time...
if you are trudging through the boring levels you will not be able to do any of the tasks unless you work it out yourself, 'cos it doesn't tell you.
please do not buy this game, buy skate, fifa or anything else

I bought this game for my husband and 10 year old son who both loved The Simpons Hit & Run. I just thought I should let everyone know that it is nowhere near as good as the hit & run game. My 10 year old was on the same platform for nearly an hour and could not make it to any other level and he is good with these kind of games usually, in his opinion it is very frustrating! It has been put on the shelf and no doubt will not be played with again. What a waste of 30. What a let down. DOH!!!!!!!

I have been after this game since it came out and having played the previous Simpsons games was expecting a fun and relatively easy distraction to provide a break from Scarface. At one level this is what I got, but on another the game suffers from really bad camera views, often affecting the action- I lost coun of the number of times I failed because it flipped at the wrong time. It can also disorientate due to the way it flips. The controls are not as responsive as could be either. Overall, if you get used to the camera it is pretty good and a bit of fun, although the problem solving elements aren't overly difficult.

I recieved my copy of the simpsons game for christmas and was very excited about playing it. HAving previously played it on the XBOX 360 or some other console in Virgin, I was looking forward to completing the levels and then runing around springfield creating havoc etc. But, I was then very dissapointed to read that this would not be happening becasue you CANNOT RUN AROUND SPRINGFIELD ON PS2 VERSION.
However, apart from this minor setback, the game is very fun and interesting. There are lots of funny lines and some very funny meetings with game creators.
Multiplayer is also very fun and is easy to access. To get multiplayer you have to simply load up a level and then press start on the second controller.
I think that this game has a lot of potential if people would just give it a chance. I admit that the camera does sometimes get tricky but I got used to it very quickly and now find the game very entertaining.
I would definitly reccomend this game as it will have you laughing all day. The levels are all very fun and I especially liked Medal of Homer part two and Grand theft scratchy. Although I was hoping for the open-ended springfield I am content with playing the levels in multiplayer and watching all the movies. So, overall, if you get bored with games easily, I would not reccomend this although while you are playing the levels it would still be fun. On the other hand if you are content with levels and co-op then BUY THIS GAME!
