Just came in the post this morning and i have been playing on it all day and its truly amazing. The graphics are better than all the other age of empires games previously and everything has been improved from later versions. Best PC game i have purchased up till now and i recommend it to anyone. Great fun for anyone who is interested in this type of game. Didnt take long to install and runs perfectly on my pc. Anyone who sees this game should buy it. There is nothing bad about this game that i have found!!!

Theres one downside - the campaign isnt long enough. but is is made up by the amazing gameplay and you can play it even with a low spec machine. But it is so much better if you have a graphics card. I have full settings and this is my pc spec

Age of Empires III
Do you love strategy games? Did you enjoy the last Age of Empires games? Well here is the next one, introducing AGE OF EMPIRES III!
The third game takes you to the new world, America. Where you can play as the French, the English, the Dutch and a few more nations wanting to expand to the new world and dominate the world. You can play in multiple locations in North and South America and the Caribbean.
The game features a new setting called home city. This changes depending on who you play as. You're home city is the place were you're king or queen rule e.g. London or Paris. You receive shipments to help up grade you and your team members. You can ship wood, weapons and other items. The graphics are amazing on the game you can zoom into the faces of the settlers and the buildings. The music is the type of music you would hear in a film involving the new world. The music is very patriotic. Like the other two ages of empires games, they go through stages. You start of in the discovery age, and end up in the Imperial age. The game has a lot of educational value as well as entertainment. It teaches you about the settlers in the new World. Overall, I give this game, 5/5.
There are also expansion packs. The War Chiefs and The Asian Dynasties.

This game was a gamei overheard some people talking about on the school bus so being a fan of age of mythology i though give it a go so i went out and spent the best 30 quid of my life. I would play forever if only there wernt life pressing matters. It has been well thought out and made simple while not lacking anything (the only think i think it needs is some extra population) The computer difficulty is perfect as expert still presents a challenge now and online you can find a game for your difficulty. This is the best game i own and only the X packs and mabye AOE 4 will be better. I have at least four other RTS games includeing supreme commander but they just gather duct and are no contest.

Age Of Empires is as good as ever October 28, 2007

Age of Empires 3 has a fulfilling campaign of about 30 levels and wonderfully playable multiplayer which can be played iver ESO or LAN where you can play supremecy or deathmatch. The units are well balanced out and there are at least two unique units for each civilisation. The civilisations are all really well matched and are all good at different things. For example the french have powerful cavalry, the germans and british have a strong economy and the russians can attack very fast.
By increasing the influence of multiple damage (eg a skirmisher does 2x damage on other infantry) it requires a lot more of a strategic approach than its predecesors. (On aoe2 i tended to be persian and kill everything with war elephants).
There usually between 1000 and 2000 people online at any given time on multiplayer. And ESO introduced a ranking system where you start of as a conscript and when your good enough you go to private, then lance corporal and so and so forth. The only wierd thing that i've recently found is that on supremecy im a lvl 14 and can competely obliterate a computer on hard difficulty, whereas on deathmatch im lvl 15 and can't quite kill a computer on hard difficulty.
But i definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys these types of games.
