I just love it January 1, 2009 I got this mainly as a remote control for my Sonos music streamer. However I am just knocked out about how good this is to use. Shame it does'nt come with more storage, will definately get another when they do.
Best gadget ever December 30, 2008 I would have given 5 stars if the new iTouch was fully compatible with the Klipsch docking station I had bought for my first iTouch It will play the music alright but doesnt charge the new iTouch at the same time
Most of the stuff you will ever need on a portable device minus the extra stuff the iPhone can do. December 30, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
One thing I've always found with Apple is that they are good at simplifying a product - be it the iPod or their desktops. The iPod Touch is no exception to this rule, it innovates in a simple user friendly manner.
My new iPod touch is a present which replaces an iPod 30GB (5G) and there is just no comparison. Much like what the scroll wheel did for the original iPods the touch screen does for the new iPod touch - it creates an intuitive and easy to use interface.
It's hard not to compare the touch to the iPhone seeing they are one and the same in most departments - minus the phone functions and 3G. I wanted to hold off for an iPhone but think I may stick with the touch. Main reasons being, more memory, thinner and in my opinion better looking - they may look the same but the touch has a much more sleek thin design with the shiney metal back in comparison to the plastic black of the iPhone.
Now it's obvious that this review has come from a Mac Fan Boy but it's something most people don't understand till they own an Apple product. For me having an iPod touch over another MP3 player just makes sense. iTunes is a great piece of software complemented with a great store and seamless integration with the iPod product range. Plus being able to plug in my iPod touch and have it automatically sync with my calenders and photos from iPhoto makes life a lot easier.
Apple users will "get" most Apple products because they all work together beautifully, other users may not. I use more of the features on the touch, such as the WiFi, which is great for checking e-mails on the go and the Apps store is also very good!
However if you just want to listen to music and nothing else then consider something cheaper, like the iPod Classic or nano - even though they can still play video.
An all singing and dancing easy to use iPod.
Ipod touch 32G - I love it!!! December 29, 2008 I have to say that I truely love this product! Don't know where to start ... love the touch screen and its ease of use and functionality. As for the games (applications), there's nothing better.... a definite buy for the techno junkie!
Is this model the latest 2nd Generation model? December 8, 2008 0 out of 17 found this review helpful
I would like to buy this but unsure whether its the latest 2nd generation model, I have contacted customer services and they are being very slow in answering. I don't wish to make a purchase to find out its got the previous software installed and I have to pay to get the latest update.
