 Warning - Locked Card - Does Not work !! December 12, 2008

I just received 2 of these cards and they have come without the tab that locks then for editing. Wouldnt be so bad if they were not stuck in the locked position somehow - I cant write to them at all !!! Going on holiday tomorrow with no SD Cards... NOT HAPPY.
Appreciate some may have got cards that work OK - but i have never seen this before not even on Cheapo SD Cards. Be Aware.

I first bought 2 of these, and made sure they worked in my Toshiba Hi Def Camcorder; no problem. It does have a 40 Gb hard drive in it, but I wanted some extra capacity in case I filled the hard drive on my holiday next February. Amazon then had an offer of a combined price for one of these 8Gb cards and a USB reader, so I purchased this also. Once again no problem with either item. I will test all 3 again before I go away; just in case !

Great card! working 100% fine with my Nikon D80. It is not super super fast... but it is quite fast than other 3rd party or low cost cards.
No issues taking pictures. No Errors.
You might need to upgrade your card reader. I am using direct cable from my camera to PC.
Will recomm.

I have tried the card in two computer,a laptop and three cameras,I have used this comapny before and waited two weeks for delivery to find it didn't work. This is the second time this has happened I will not buy here again.
