Well worth the money... December 19, 2008 It's true you get what you pay for when you pay for audio equipment. I own a pair of Sennheiser HD25 headphones for DJ'ing, there 125. So I knew Sennheiser were a good brand. But I was curious at the difference between the quality of the two.
I have a new ipod nano 4th gen, and wanted some new headphones, because the Apple ones are very poor. When i've been on the train home I have struggled to hear my movie... I have since bought this Sennheiser headphones and they are a whole lot better especially for under 20... Your safe spending your cash here if your just after some Ipod headphones.
Appalling headphones December 19, 2008 I bought these after my Sony in-ear headphones started to fail me, (actually a great pair of headphones with brilliant sound quality until they broke) these seemed a fair enough buy with them not being too expensive but it turns out this was a mistake! These headphones are terrible, the sound quality is incredibly tinny, with a good deal of background 'buzz'. Even when they aren't actually playing anything and just plugged into your iPod/ laptop etc, they still produce a great deal of buzzing.
They feel cheap and seriously not worth the money! Spend the extra few pounds and opt for something of better quality! I really wish I had!
Mine have already broken December 15, 2008 I can't have got these headphones more than 2 months ago, and already they are about 5 times quieter than they were when I bought them. In a crowded room I can barely hear anything, I need absolute silence, so obviously I can't listen to my music whilst travelling at all. My friend has a pair of Sennheisers and says they are really good so I may have just bought a faulty pair.
Superb not superseeded by newer models December 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If your not interested much in earphones, and simply want to get a cheap, quality earbud this is it. The sound quality is excellent, the sound-isolation is average (to block out noises such as the Train).
Superseded by the CX400 and CX500 so buy spend a little more and get those instead if you want the best.
Good Sound but try moving with them on December 1, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Well the sound is great. The 3 sizes of ear piece is great. And fitting was easy. The problem came when actually using them. The long ear piece wire conducts noise like a stethoscope so if you move around the wire brushing your clothes or just pulling on its own weight you get the equivalent sound of tapping your ear with your finger - it's maddening. Even pinning the wire to my collar didn't work as one of the single ear piece wires (non-adjustable) is only a few inches limit your head movement. But fine if your sitting still at a computer or on a bus.
