Slow, clunky, boring December 31, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The people who created this game are obviously not familiar with why previous versions are so popular.
You spend 90% of the time watching units slowly crawl across the screen, only to get stuck at every opportunity.
Just dull.
Poor December 31, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Give this a miss. I say that as an ardent C&C fan too. It took me a dozen attempts to get it to work and when it did, sheesh, what a disapointment. It feels completely unfamiliar with silly graphics and game play, the movies are tedious and cheesy without being funny or entertaining. I seriously hope EA have a massive rethink on this series.

For the first time with C&C it felt childish to play a strategy game, awful graphics, silly weapons, what a waste of time and money.Wish I had checked it out first.

Red Alert 3 is good, but it doesn't really improve on Command & Conquer Red Alert 2. The playability is spoiled by being too easy at times and too predictable. The cut-scenes are just as good as ever, but the menus and graphics are cartoon-like compared with the traditional style and consequently it feels less dramatic.
