1 out of 5 stars not night-vision goggles   May 5, 2008

I don't believe this product matches the description. A red light bulb does not provide night vision. I'm going to return this product.

1 out of 5 stars A waste of money at half price!   February 11, 2008

We bought this for a Christmas present for our son and thought we were getting a bargain as it was on half-price offer. What a swizz. They are uncomfortable, the "highly powered flash light" device is a feeble little red bulb and the "sonic ear listening device" is less effective than a pair of baked bean cans & a length of string. In fact, the user's night vision & listening capabilities are vastly improved if this device is carefully installed inside a wheelie bin.
National Geographic have made a serious error of judgment in endorsing this piece of tat.
Rubbish.

1 out of 5 stars A disappointment for my son   January 11, 2008

What a let down is all i can say. Night vision goggles....?
Simply goggles with a small headlight on them !
I could have bought something similar to this for a couple of pounds in town.
My son was very disappointed and has tried them on once and discarded them.
Guess i should have read the reviews before i ordered - you live and learn.....

1 out of 5 stars A joke   December 26, 2007

These goggles actually hinder your ability to see in the dark! The only 'night vision' they can give you is in a well lit room in which you could see anyway. The idea of the goggles is a SMALL LED torch above the eyes. I could hold a torch above my head and have a much better but similar effect, the provided light even isn't any good, it's similar to that of a dying lightbulb. As for the 'enchanced hearing'? Really? Stay away from this product or you'll wind up with a very disappointed child.
