Easy to use and excellent quality September 17, 2008

Excellent little device and very easy to use. The insructions are well written and within a few hours of use you can pretty much understand all of the basic recording functions and have the device connected to a computer to download your first files.
I'm using the recorder to keep a record of rehearsals with a variety of bands from guitar duo to a full 5 piece. The quality is always good with almost no messing around. It doesn't seem possible to make a bad recording.
Recording your rehearsals and performances is the best way to appraise your progress as a muscian. Don't delay and buy one today!

I bought this device to aid practice as it's very difficult to judge the overall sound of a duet when you're actually playing one of the parts. I was not disappointed.
This is an excellent recorder providing a superb stereo image. Extremely good recording quality and it works straight out of the box, just load two batteries and away you go.
Very importantly, and unlike MP3 recorders I've tried, the H2 accurately captures the attack of "difficult" instruments like concertinas beautifully and it works equally well with percussion.
The box includes a memory card, headphones, USB lead, stereo jack to phono lead, desk stand, windshield, and a little pouch to keep the recorder in. Basically it has everything you need to start making useful recordings.
If you're looking for a good general purpose semi-professional recorder I'd recommend this one.
