Has its faults, but great customer service October 26, 2008 Bought the Ozbozz Nebulus Nectra Folding Scooter about half a year ago for my son. In general it's good value. My son enjoys scooting around on it, and learns balancing along the way (4 stars for fun and educational value).
I agree with some of the other reviews. The wheels area is the weakest department. The wheels are too hard hence causes quite a bit of vibration, but my son doesn't seem to mind this. 2 weeks ago the rear wheel axel came off (3 stars for durability). I e-mailed the company (Ozbozz), and to my surprise the company promptly sent a replacement axel to me at no charge! If there is a star rating for customer service, Ozbozz gets a 5!
In short it's good value for money. It has a few faults, but I trust the company to rectify it where possible.
Good for cruising but not bruising! September 15, 2008 This scooter is fine for a quick scoot to school for young children. My son however is 6 and managed to break the handlebars and crack the back wheel. he likes to scoot fast and do tricks. So i wouldnt reccomend it for adventurous children. My daughter isnt quite so brutal and hers is still going strong 6 months later.
Good but lots of vibration August 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this one for my 5 year old, but the wheels are very hard and there is a lot of vibration and noise, so she refused to ride it, but it doesn't bother her sister. Her sister also tends to over-steer and the front wheel sometimes jams. We also have the 3 wheel flashing scooter, and have had the wheels fall off. We do ride them to school most days though, and they don't get much maintenance, so probably my fault.
Great value! July 30, 2008 I just got this for my 5 year old, and for him it is great. It is a good basic scooter and surprisingly well made for the price. Even I have had a go on it, is fab! The foam on the handles could be a little firmer, I don't think it will last, but at this price, is a risk I can take. Easy to fold and light weight to carry, yet surprisingly sturdy. Five stars from me!
do not buy! March 13, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
this product has very loud plastic wheels(bronken within a week) very bad bearings, way too small and nowhere near the weight of what it says. my advice is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR if something is too good to be true... it probably is.
