More of a workout than Wii Fit!! August 28, 2008
Well, with the olympics over but finding myself still with that athletics buzz, seeing that at last a realistic take on these events had been released was just the thing I needed, and at such a low price for anew game!
And of course, seeing that it was priced cheaper than your top new release, I had my doubts about the quality and entertainment value I was going to get. But how wrong I was!
Ok, so its not licensed, it doesn't have that official, authentic shine like Beijing Olympics, nor the cartoony, franctic fun of Mario and Sonic, but dame if it isn't entertaining and throughly challenging! I'l admit that some of the events take some getting used to, and that not all of them work as well as others, but some, such as the swimming events, and the archery in my view are excellent and well thought out! The wide ranging choice of events is fantastic, and each give you something different! One thing all of the events in common have though is that they each give your arms a thorough work out, my arms have never ached so much having played a game! While the Wii Fit caters for your lower body, this is the game everyone needs to help all the rest up above!
All in all, this game is excellent value, and is also quite comical when playing with mates! Definitely recommend!

This game is brilliant! You can play it on your own and build up a successful career for your own athlete or you can challenge your family and friends in multiplayer mode. This game is ultra fun even though a few of the sports are quite easy! I thoroughly recommend buying it!
