Derek burnt to death!!!!! October 9, 2008 I apologise for the randomness of my title, however watching my little man burn to death yesterday ( and then proceed to turn into a ghost) actually bought a tear to the eye! I had become quite fond of Derek, my little sim who try as he might just cannot get it on with the goth Lady! This game is highly adictive, which is dangerous really as I am a mother of three, and this just suits me down to the ground! Why bother with REAL housework when I could be mopping up 30 puddles of water from my leaky shower??? Or greeting the neighbours? or shopping to make my house look beautiful? its just escaping reality and feeling young again, I love this game!

I've had this game for about 4 months now and haven't been able to play it at all because I haven't been able to afford a big enough memory card, I didn't know when I bought it that it took up so much space, so I might have to just sell it even though I'm desperate to play it :(
BUY THE PC VERSION. 18th december 2004. December 19, 2004 0 out of 8 found this review helpful
I absolutley love the sims, i payed 40.00 for this because everytime sims come out, they improve. I never knew any difference in this game, so boring. I thought the graphics were fairly good, but the game itself is unexplainable, just set out wrong and to me it's nothing like the pc version and how good it is. I am a big fan of the sims, i defintely would say this is 5 out of 10. Sometimes i can play on it but i'm only on it for 5 or 10 minutes. Don't beleive whatever it says, it hasn't improved buy the pc version, it gave me 6months of fun.
Better than the pc version. 16th august 2004. August 16, 2004 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
I always used to say the pc version was the best, but now after getting into the game i think it is brilliant, get a job unlock new things such as dudleys, sign language, and fall in love with dudley. But first the most exciting part of the game is to choose your sim, call your sim a name and have any hair style, clothing etc. Or go on free play and have up to 4 people in your family. I had two twin girls a mom and a dad. The main is bust out where you choose one sim and just move out and live somewhere else or find your boyfriend.
Bigger and better March 10, 2004 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Having bought and played the Sims on the Gamecube I was quite excited when thhis new game came out. Eeverything about this game build and improves on the first one released on this platform. The choice of characters is larger, the number of locations are huge and the graphics are of a better quality. The basis premis of the game is to progress through your life in terms of housing, career and relationships, whhich is much like the first game. However the different locations add a great new way of progressing and the facility to visit other locations means that if you get tired of staring at thhe same background it is easy to go somewhere different. There are some funky places to chill out and even the possibility of stealing things from other people's houses! You will need a lot of save space for this game, however, as it takes up quite a lot of room. The only other criticism I have of it is that sometimes it becomes tedious when trying to build skills needed for a job promotion. This, though, is only a small fault and overall the game is quite brilliant and very addictive and enjoyable.
