Addictive! November 23, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is such an addictive game. I got it based on reviews from friends and they were spot on. The park management is fun, and easy to use. The ability to interact with the park guests adds an extra dimension. The mini games are fantastic with so much variety and gameplay. Xbox Live compliments it perfectly.
Just a tremendous game that I've not been able to stop playing and at this price definitely worth getting. Many, many hours fun to be had!
hours and hours of fun November 18, 2007 I played the demo of this game, and thought it looked pretty good.
But when i bought it, it was so much better, i think the demo didnt do it justice!
There are so many mini-games, and they are all so fun.
Gamerpoints are mostly quite easy to achieve.
Id recomment this to anyone who enjoys this genre of games, but try it first on xbox demo marketplace!
I want this game so much... October 24, 2007 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
To be honest, this is my interpretation of an amazing game. There's nothing terribly wrong with it, OK maybe the graphics could have been a little better but who cares? The thing that strikes me the most about this game is the fact that you can wind down when playing it.
(therefore it's for the hardcore gaming freak who only plays FPSs with 'amazing' graphics and bloodshed everywhere, playing for the action rather than the sheer pleasure)
My favourite bit is where you get to ride the rides that you create from a rider's view so it feels like your actually on it.
Overall this game is for you if: You like the Sims games and the roller coaster tycoon games as it's a mixture between the two. Yes, you can go around the theme park as your own character and ride the rides and play minigames i.e. stunt rider, like the internet game everyone's obsessed with - or you just want to wind down This game isn't for you if: (this is a hard one)...you don't want to wind down?
However, don't fully trust my review as I've only played the demo...over and over again. This game (or demo) is just too much fun.
The best theme park game for console October 13, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is such an excellent game. With some of the theme park games you end up spending all your time on nothing but roller coasters, but this game gives the whole theme park experience. The arcade games are a great sideshow. Interacting with the people in the park is a top class addition to the genre. Giving it elements of RPG is a good idea. This is a super fun game... perfect for switching off and winding down.

Having tried the game on the PSP and other sandbox theme park type games I was very impressed with the demo. Obviously this is not the whole game BUT the Stunt Bike mini game was AMAZING!!! even if you down load it for this you will not be disapointed. I dropped Halo 3 playing for this gem of a mini game , it would be an amazing Xbox Arcade addition just on its own. I you remember Oids ( Atari ST ) where gameplay came first before graphics I promise you will smile from ear to ear.Cant rate the whole game higher as havent played complete game.
