Try the demo December 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Try the demo if you are on xlive as the game aint that bad and dont forget its a rts on console so it will never be as good as its pc brother , but lots of work has been done by EA to try and get rts games working with a joypad only .

I played the demo (free on XBox Live as of w/c 08/12/08) and whilst I was a big fan of Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge this game bears no relation in terms of playability. The controls are clumsy, the graphics are rooted in the 20th century.
The only plus points are the cast, but Gemma Atkinson's uniform would have her chucked out of the armed forces! I'm all for willing suspension of disbelief but a mini dress which shows off her best assets is not a credible uniform! On the other hand I guess they know the demographic playing this game will approve... She's a smashing looking young lady but if I want glamour pictures I'll go elsewhere.
Save your money, and go back to play the old PC versions. They're still the bees knees!
Its Not brilliant but I can see where they are coming from December 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well, it's not the best c&c ever. I'm still and always will be a Yuris revenge man, but the game is good and I like the new units. However, the gameplay itself is too complicated for me and the game tries to put too much on one screen. That is My only concern. Otherwise this is a brilliant game and I would highly recommend it, but for the computer is probably Better
Worst C & C i have played November 20, 2008 1 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is a complete waste of time, graphics are bad (not sure what they were trying to do) and gameplay is equally as bad. Dont waste your money buy /keep Kanes Wrath which is a brilliant C and C game.
Distinctly average, but better on XBox November 17, 2008 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I have been a big fan of all the C&C's that have been released throughout the years. The biggest dilemma for me was whether to buy this for the PC or XBox.
Simple. XBox, Without doubt. The controls take a little adjustment at first, but functionality is surprisingly easy after an hours practise for those with an ounce of dexterity.
The graphics and gameplay are 4*, has a storline of some interest and some of the female commanders who assist you through the missions are stunners.
The main drawback is the game is a little easy, even on hard. Definately one for the shelf, although 40 is perhaps a little pricey. For all those, other than the hardcore, wait and pick up this game when its half this price.
