this has to be one of my favourite games on the Xbox, im a big fan of the film(s) anyway but dont worry if you didnt like the plot in the chronicles of riddick film, this is a different story. as the title suggest, your in butcher bay, a notorious prison that no one could possibly escape from? it really is quite a brilliant game in every way, the graphics are beautiful and the prison is incredably dirty and dingy and quite discusting... its great, no shiny boring metalic walls here, everything is covered in unique graffiti. the gameplay is also amazing, admitidly, the controls seem a bit slow and sluggish at first but after a while, you'l realise that they are perfect. the sound is also a high point in this great game, inmates and guards chatter amongst themselves and the voice talent is quite brilliant. Xzibit lends his unique voice to one of the prison guards and vin diesal delivers all his usual lines in that gritty voice of his. i really cant recommend this game enough. dont be put of because its based on a movie, this game really isnt a cash grabber, instead its one of the finest games on the xbox, stick with it and youl reap the rewards.... now excuse me, need to go and play through it again!

Before Doom3 this game aimed for the best in graphics and gameplay. Brutal hand to hand combat, prison survival and stealthy evasion and escape all in one beautiful package.
