What are they thinking January 4, 2009 0 out of 8 found this review helpful
What are they thinking, lets make a game about a terrorist attack, and then put a picture of a building that looks remarkably like the WTC on the front of the game and call it Skyscaper.
Sorry but bad taste alert.
In addition it claims that its a realistic terrorist experience, what have they interviewed those who have suffered at the hands of terrorists? Good work, glad that you made them relive those terrifying experiences for the sake of a video game.
In addition given the worlds climate at the moment, its very subjective as to who is a terrorist and a freedom fighter, especially in a global market, gamers as a rule are usually quite switched on, most of us have seen Zeitgiest, and I think that unless this game comes from that viewpoint of terrorism on the world stage as opposed to the hermetically sealed and sanitized version we receive from the media, then this game will flop.
Personally I think that this is a very transparent attempt to stir up huge amounts of controversy (which I am aware I am probably contributing to with this review) so that the game sells bucket loads.
I am not going to suggest Amazon not stock it, I am a believer in free choice, but I would suggest individuals consider boycotting it as the thinly concealed manipulation it is.
