Wow, it is truly great!Before I was boughting thix, I did a lot of research!
There are many manufacters that brings out cables like;
Monstercable, Mad Catz, BOOM, interact, V Port, .....
I have to say, that Mad Catz bring nice stuff to, but not the set, that you see everywhere on the internet (Ultra AV Kit)
The ultra av kit is ONLY good if you have both COMPONENT outputs on you plasme/LCD/HDTV AND if you got a receiver, that can decode Dolby Digital
If you do NOT have component outputs on your tv, the microsoft advanced scart cable is THE solution to it, why?
You have RGB-signals, it works the same as the component technologie and you have a digital output(optical) on the cable to your receiver. IMPORTANT a receiver is NOT recoired, you'll have sound on your tv, don't worry
Now, if you do NOT have RGB-outputs on your tv, I think the best bang fot the buck is this cable from Mad Catz => Ultra S-Video/Audio Cable
With this cable you can choose; you can chose the s-video connector or the composite connector(yellow-color)
The cable is very good shieleded also and has(like the MS cable) two filters on it to reduce interference

You have another choice if s-video is the best output on your tv, than you can also go for monstercable, it exepensive, but this cable is solid as rock
Ok, the thing I can say, Don't you use the standard cables deliverd with your Xbox, there are better ones, that's fot sure!!
If you got RGB scart connectors on your tv(fully connected 21pins), than the Microsoft advanced scart cable is your choice!!
The cable is +/- 1,8 meters long (6 foot)
You can choose if you want the dolby digital output or the regular output, anyway, you don't have to worry, you'll have sound!!(analog or digital), it's also nice to say, the optical connector is protected against durt, it's a sort gate, that can open true a spring, I don't now precise how to discribe it, I can say that it is well build!!
The quality will improve dramaticly
If you do not have RGB on you tv, the best alternative is to get the Mad Catz cable: Ultra S-Video/Audio Cable

If you've done test, with different sort of cable, I mean the junk you'll get standard and the betters that you can buy, you will see that difference is HUGE!
It's always important, if you have a descent system, buy descent cables to!!!
