NBA Live 2003 is undoubtably the best basketball game on the Xbox, at least untill 2004 comes out. The graphics are outstanding producing an extremely realistic representation of the sport. The game play is also alot of fun but could be considered a little too unrealistic for die hard simulation fans, NBA Live seems stuck in two minds as to whether it is a simulation or a streetball game, pulling off incredibly moves and dunks is the norm resulting in hugely high scoring games. One new feature in the Live series is freestyle control and thankfully it works brilliantly, giving you unparelled control of your players and opening up tons of new moves, hopefully they will have made this feature even better in the 2004 version coming out soon. All in all NBA Live 2003 is a very good game, there are a few gameplay problems but there is nothing that will stop you from enjoying this excelently presented game.
