This game is really bad!!! It takes ages to kill someone!!! The graphics are really robotic and bad!!! You have to take care of your teamates, which is bad because they dont kill anybody, they just folow you!!!! Dont waste your money!!!!
Ok game but not great.... May 28, 2005 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Graphics are ok, gameplay is ok, but it is way too short. a couple of nights of playing and i had got to the last level. also very repetitive. i felt that it was merely running around killing the 'vietcong' with the odd challenge with a tank. very little variety, even in the harder levels as it is hard to find cover to fire from due to the game controls. overall, a good game to begin with, but quickly gets boring. a one-time-play game

Although this is the first game in the 'conflict series' that I have played I found it easy to get into and the controls intuitive which can't be said about similar game titles in the same genre. The game has 14 missions and to progress quickly it is necessary to use your 'saves' carefully during each mission in order to prevent going back to the beginning of each level which can be very infuriating. Also your soldiers carry different equipment and weapons so choose the soldier most apt for the scenario you are facing. In all a great game which will keep you engrossed while it lasts.
Disappointment... October 2, 2004 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
The first two games were brilliant and I was hoping the developers would impress again. Graphics, presentation and sound are excellent but I feel that the developers sacrificed gameplay for realism. I found most levels to be a chore and highly frustrating. Have a bottle of water handy incase you throat gets too dry like mine! The enemy in this game are like the SAS in flip-flops. Even better as they have the unique ability of running into a hail of bullets that I'm firing and in some way gaining the upper hand. Forget about tactics as you hardly have enough time to implement the most but basic. Run and gun is the best tactic on most levels. Let's hope for a better Conflict next time!
Great Fun! September 25, 2004 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Great game, harder than the previous two games in the series. also the missions are much larger and more varied. all in all a great addition to the conflict series of games 14 fun packed missions even better on multiplayer!!
