Whilst this sequel overflows into city streets, theatres etc, the scenery is actually very similar to the prison setting of part one (indeed prisons feature more than once here as well). The monsters are mostly identical to those in the original. The atmosphere is intense and edgy, as before. The hero, Tork's ambiguous morality is again presented with great skill by the game's developers - the scenes involving apparitions of his family are sometimes harrowing. No doubt players will be polarized on whether the 'save when you like' feature is a good or bad thing. Personally, I was grateful for this during the final chapter. In summary, if you know part one, part two is pretty much the same.
