It seems expensive and it doesn't look much when you pull it out of the box. Compared with my previous joystick from a well known manufacturer it looks flimsy and lacking in style. However, install the software and take to the skies. Immediately you are impressed with the responsiveness and precision of this joystick. It knocks spots of my previous controller. It's entry level by CH standards but does have a throttle wheel on the base. I reckon you will be happy with this purchase. It does the job brilliantly.

I reckoned the CH range of joysticks was rather expensive. My only previous joystick was a Logitech Digital Extreme. Shortly after purchasing this I upgraded to XP and Logitech never revised the software or offered any discount to anyone wanting to upgrade the joystick. It was a pretty useless piece of kit but flash and built like a brick.
The CH Flight Stick Pro is in a different league. It's entry level in their range. Initially I was worried by how lightweight it felt. It looks pretty unimpressive too. Install the software- which takes a while- and then try it. You then realise why enthusiasts buy CH products. It is so light and responsive that it transforms a flight game. I don't think you will be disappointed with the purchase. You get what you pay for with this item.
