First of all, I'd like to point out that I've only used this on Gran Turismo 4 for PS2 and so things may be different on other games (though I doubt it). That said, I have played many game hours with this wheel and have got pretty much the most out of it.
This wheel is pretty robust (if a little creakey at times), doesn't feel too cheaply made, pretty grippy and feels good in the hands. Paddles are in a good place and shift well 99% of the time. The other buttons on the wheel work fine too though I feel the R and L buttons can be hard to reach whilst driving with the wheel, not that they're used much in GT4. The clamp works well but occasionally slips off the wheel if you've got it on too tight. The suction pads work very well on surfaces such as desks.
In terms of the steering itself, it's pretty good. However it's not quite as responsive as I'd like it to be and thats at the maximum sensitivity setting. Also the wheel has a 15-20 degree dead zone before the steering actually kicks in which is a pain for finetune steering such as straightening up on a straight, particularly after overtaking.
My main quarrel with this wheel however is the pedals. They're far too sensitive and can't be adjusted. It's pretty much full or no throttle/braking. You can get 25% 50% etc throttle but it's so difficult to achieve especially when you're concentrating on your steering and what not and doesn't feel realistic at all. In fact I've found out that the actual amount you have to push the pedal in from 0% throttle to 100% is only 6mm which is pretty fine so just imagine how difficult it is to push the pedal in only 3mm if you want 50%. Also I should point out that the distance of the pedal at rest and fully compressed is 40mm (ish). You don't get anything for the first 10mm then there's the 6mm between 0 and 100% throttle and then the remaining 20mm or so is waste pedal. I realise this is very picky (and also pretty sad for measuring the pedals =P) but pretty important if you want finetune throttle response (especially if you're driving high powered cars with no traction control!).
Overall despite the complaints it's not a bad wheel and was worth the 20 I paid for it just to see what it's like playing driving games with a wheel. However if you want finetune driving and want to get the absolute most out of your own abilities I wouldn't recommend this. If however you're new to using a wheel and are not trying to shave 10ths of a second off your lap times (or are driving with traction control on!) then this is a good, affordable wheel before deciding to move onto better more expensive wheels.

Got this wheel because it is cheap, and after 8 months of use it has served me well. Responsive control, professional build and great looking to boot. If you want a steering wheel for your racing games and can't afford the more 'pro' wheels, I'd highly recommend this.
Negatives: After many months of heavy use, the wheel itself will begin to make a few creaking sounds. The accelerator pedal (after constant hammering) will also lose a little bit of power, but after this much use you will probably be in the mood for an upgrade (because of the substantial extra dimension this wheel has added to my games I will be getting the Logitech G25). The lack of force feedback also makes driving sims a little tricky, but overall a great entry level wheel and for just 30 quid, it's very much worth the money, much better than the cheap force feedback wheels you can buy which will break in about 2-3 months.

This steering wheel is rubbish , after 2 WEEKS the wire which attaches the petal broke , the sticks snapped and there you go , wasted you your money , choose something else

Isn't just good for the price, is good full stop. Can set controls and sensitivity just in case a game has bad options for those (NFS Pro Street for example assigns R1 and R2 instead of R2 and L2 to changing gear and can't be changed). Whole package works wonders though does take a little getting used to as it's biggest flaw is that there is a slight dead spot in the middle but is easy to get used to and is probably the case in about half of wheels so can't ask for more from it. Brilliant.

Love it! Its so good ive even made a wooden stand for it so i can sit and drive like a pro.
