Product Description (Wiimote not included)GUN IS COMPLETELY WHITE (NO BLUE GRIP)Datels Wii Pistol is the ideal add-on for classic blasters such as Resident Evil 4 and Chicken Shoot. Playing titles such as these with an unadorned Wiimote just isnt the same. It doesnt feel like you have a gun in your hand, so when youre taking out a horde of foetid zombies or bagging your supper down on the farm, some of the intense in-the-game atmosphere is lost. Fear not with our sturdy, yet inexpensive add-on for the Wiimote, you can feel every inch like the pistol-packin hero of the game!Wii Pistol is simple to use. Just clip your Wiimote into the sturdy yet lightweight plastic casing, and youre away. The pistols trigger activates the Wiimotes B button, and you can still reach all the topside controls should you need them. Its comfortable in the hand, feels solid without being bulky and is sturdy enough to take the knocks as you blast your way through the game. If lightgun-style gaming is your thing, you should never be without one!

An exact clone to the Nyko perfect shot!!! 100% recommended November 7, 2008 I just read the previous review where the owner were complaining about the design and usefulness of the gun and felt the need to write my own.
If you are getting the gun that it's shown in the picture, then that's one of the best purchases you can make. If you are not, the question would be: has Datel re-design a perfect gun to a rubbish one (I would not say so) or are you getting a cheap clone?
If you get the real Datel gun, the nunchuck fits perfectly, you have the plastic loop to keep the wiimote in place, the spring is strong enough, etc. Overall... 5 stars!!!!
Pointless piece of plastic October 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this Wii pistol, because I had read elsewhere it was an exact clone of the Nyko Perfect Shot Pistol. It is not. It may have been once, but what turned up was a badly designed piece of plastic that simply did not work.
(1) The Wii remote slides in from the back. You have to open up the back of the pistol grip completely. There are no pass through electronics for connecting the nunchuck.
(2) You can't easily plug in the nunchuck, because the tiny hole in the bottom of the pistol handle does not allow the plug through. You have to force the pistol grip open by popping out the whole rear section of plastic. This will eventually break.
(3) And maybe the worst failing. The spring is not strong enough to return the trigger to its resting position after pressing it. So the trigger just jams pressed. Completely useless.
(4) The pistol shell looks nothing like the one pictured here, It does not have the flip up holder at the front of the barrel. It is a complete redesign - not for the better.
I would strongly recommend you purchase the Nyko Perfect Shot Pistol. I did after trying this one, and it was much better. It actually works.
