I too was about to purchase these microphones for use with singstar, thank goodness I read the reviews first. I also think it's up to Amazon to make sure that product descriptions are fair and comprehansive.

Look at the picture... in the bottom of the box it mentions something like " ideal for use with microphone support including ROCKSTAR and SINGSTAR" cant read the rest.
If this doesn't work with singstar like other people have said then the package lies and I wouldn't touch this product with a bargepole.

hi can any body tell me what games this mic does work with, ive tried high school musical sing it for the ps2 on the ps3 and it wont work on the game but works in the menu on the ps3 cheers

I was about to buy a pair of these as the wife enjoys many parties with her friends playing singstar on the PS3 but if these dont work with Singstar there is no point, i will go and buy Lips on Xbox 360, Thanks

The product description states that this mic supports most karaoke games. It omits to mention that it does not support the most popular one for the Playstation 3 i.e. Singstar.
I will be trying to return this product based on this less than completely honest description.
